La Lune Tattoo is a family owned and run tattoo studio in Kendal, Cumbria.
We are a custom tattoo studio specialising in the colourful, weird and wonderful.
Our aim is to provide bespoke artwork in a clean and sterile environment with a dash of something different.
We can make your own designs come to life or talk through concepts and design tattoos for you.
If you want your first tattoo and you have any questions, we are happy to talk with you about it, no fee, no obligation. We understand that for some people this is a big step.

Sophie
Hi my name's Sophie, I’ve had La Lune Tattoo since march 2020 and I’ve loved watching La Lune grow from a simple space, to the eye catching and colourful studio it is today. I pride myself in my creative ideas and helping people to feel welcomed and at ease when working together to create artwork. My passion is bright colours and whacky and whimsical concepts. I have an eye for detail and some of my favourites are floral pieces, but I love trying new styles, and always open to something a bit different. I’m so proud of my team and know that we will do our very best to make sure you go home smiling after a day with us.
Sharron
Hi my names Sharron, I manage all aspects of the studio and it's likely me you'll talk to when making a booking!
Elisia
Hey, I'm Elisia! I've been tattooing since 2021, and it's been an amazing journey. I love doing a range of styles, particularly traditional and illustrative, but I'm always down to mix it up and try new things. I would love to do more Neo-Traditional pieces and portrait work! A lot of my inspiration comes from pop culture and music—whether it's a classic horror movie, album covers, or more celestial elements and witchy vibes! I love pulling from things that vibe with me, so you'll definitely see spooky vibes and a bit of horror influence in my work.
Holly
Hi I'm Hol! I've been tattooing since June 2022, I love tattooing black & grey illustrative, anything with skulls, flowers and animals and I love doing a range of styles!
T
Hi I’m T, I’ve been an apprentice here at La lune since September 2024, and loving learning the ins and outs of the industry, new techniques and meeting the varies personalities of Kendal. I’ve found a new passion for black and grey and experimenting with different tones and ideas. Check out some of my realism pieces, I’d love to practice more of these in the future. You’ll see me welcoming clients and making a good brew on your next visit.

BOOKING INFO
We require £80 deposit at the time of booking.
We cannot confirm without one!
We require a description with any reference pictures as well as size and placement.
Please note: We have now had to put a limit on the number of reschedules due to numerous rescheduling and no show appointments.
We now only allow 2 reschedules per appointment booked. If the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the appointment and we cannot fill the appointment we will hold the deposit. Anything less than 24 hours and we expect the full amount of the cost of the tattoo.
When you book an appointment and pay your deposit you agree to these terms and conditions.
